The Choice Homes ABA Pro Tour wrapped up recently at SWS Mystics Pro Presented By OpenLive after the event was rescheduled back in April due to poor conditions.
After what may have been the biggest flat spell in the history of south coast winters, an east pulse finally made it’s way into the Killalea State Park. With a title race at stake between current tour leader Hayato Enokido & 2017 ABA Pro Champion Lachlan Cramsie, the stage was set to provide one of the best finale events in ABA history.
With shifting winds swinging in from the north late morning, the conditions became challenging with making the better waves hard to come by. Hayato Enokido got caught out on a paddling interference against Mauricio Arbrunosa in his Round #3 Heat, leaving the door wide open for Lachie Cramsie.
Lachie did not waste the opportunity fighting his way through to the final after taking down the South African duo in Wes Fisher & Michael Ostler. The fairytale final played out against back to back Pro Junior Champion Liam Lucas. Lachlan Cramsie is the Mystics Pro Champion & goes back to back as your 2017/2018 Pro Mens Champion.
